Permanently Reclaimed Spoils Area <br />The Permanently Reclaimed Spoils Area (PRSA) provided fill for the North Pit and North Pit <br />Haul Road reclamation. Approximately 0.5 acres were disturbed. <br />Reclamation of the PRSA involved the following tasks undertaken between May and August <br />2006: <br />1) Stripped topsoil from the area of the PRSA to be used as fill. <br />2) Removed fill for use at the North Pit and North Pit Haul Road. <br />2) Regraded and finish graded the sideslopes, outslopes, and surface after completion of fill <br />haulage. <br />3) Replaced stripped topsoil from the PRSA, covering the area with eight to twelve inches of <br />topsoil. <br />4) Seeded and mulched the PRSA area disturbed as described in the revegetation plan. <br />Topsoil Stockpile #2 <br />Topsoil Stockpile #2 was the source for replacement topsoil during the reclamation of the North <br />Pit, North Pit Haul Road, PRSA, and South Pit Drill Pad. It comprised 2.69 acres. <br />Reclamation of Topsoil Stockpile #2 involved the following tasks undertaken between May and <br />August 2006: <br />11) Loaded and hauled needed topsoil from the stockpile. This task was accomplished with <br />tracked excavator and articulated dump truck team. <br />2) Regraded and finish graded the area with a motorgrader, leaving a base of eight to twelve <br />inches of topsoil. <br />4) Disked the topsoil. <br />5) Seeded and mulched the North Pit area as described in the revegetation plan. <br />South Pit Drill Pad <br />The South Pit Drill Pad was an area at the northwest corner of the South Pit that had been leveled <br />in advance of drilling and blasting. It comprised less than two acres. <br />Reclamation of the South Pit Drill Pad involved the following tasks undertaken between May <br />• and August 2006: <br />Abridged Permit Document 5 -22 Feb 2008 <br />
