2.05.3(6)(x) Surface Blasting Plan <br />• (i) Only the overburden will be blasted prior to <br />removal. Anfo will be used as the explosive which will be deto- <br />nated using electric caps. Approximately 1.1 pounds of explosive <br />per cubic yard of overburden will be used. <br />(ii) The Operator will keep a record of each blast <br />and such records will be retained for at least 3 ,years and shall <br />be available for inspection by the Division and by the public on <br />request. Each blast record will contain the following data: <br />(1) Name of the Operator; <br />(2) Location, date, and time of blast; <br />(31 Name signature and license number of blaster-in-charge; <br />(4) Identification, direction and distance, in feet, from <br />the nearest blast hole to the nearest dwelling, public building, <br />school, church, community or institutional building; <br />(51 Weather conditions, including temperature, caind, direc- <br />tion, and approximate velocity; <br />(61 Type of material blasted; <br />(71 Sketches of the blast pattern including number of <br />• holes, burden, spacing, and delay pattern; <br />(8) Sketches shall also show decking, if holes are decked <br />to achieve different delay times within a hole; <br />(9) Diameter and depth of holes; <br />(101 Types of explosives used; <br />(11) Total weight of explosives used and maximum weight of <br />explosives used per 8-millisecond period; <br />(12) Initiation system; <br />(13) Type and length of stemming; <br />(19) Mats or other protections used; <br />• 2.05-13 <br />
