<br />Dear Sir ar Madam:
<br />The I]ivision of Reclamation, Mining and safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 3?, Section 11?,
<br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on November ?, ?Oa?, an application to revise coal mining operations at
<br />the ilk Creek and Sanborn Creek Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing, The revision was submitted by
<br />Qxbow Minim, LLC. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of
<br />filing.
<br />This Technical Revision provides for the addition of as many as thirty-three gob vent boreholes at the Elk Creek Kline.
<br />Twenty-seven drill pads and associated temporary, light use roads will be installed; the boreholes will be fitted with pumps for
<br />mine ventilation, and eventually reclaimed.
<br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 0 miles Forth of Somerset, Colorado. The permit
<br />area is further described as follows;

<br />Township ?? South, Range 91 west, Gth F - all or parts of Sections 25 - 27 and ?4 - ?G

<br />Township 13 South, Range 91 'Vest, nth P - all or party of Sections 1- 3 and 11-13
<br />The above-rrientianed tracts of land are shaven an USES 7.5 minute ?uadxangle maps of Somerset and bowie.
<br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete, At the time of
<br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to puce a cagy of this application at the 1'aoria Public Library,
<br />? Third Street, Faonia, ?? S 14?$; with Gunnison and Delta County Planning Departments; and at the D>lv>lsyon office. For
