DRMS Response #2, M-1980-146, 29 October 2009, Page 3
2. Please not that the present access road will not be closed as a road, but will simply no
longer be used for access from the scale house and operations onto SH-160. The road
will be used in future (post-mining and -reclamation) uses of the site, and there is no
plan to remove the road or change any drainage associated with it.
Thank you for your assistance in this process, and for your patience in the delay in this response,
due to the work load. If there is a need to extend the decision date, please consider this our
agreement to do so in advance as necessary.
In the future, we will attempt to coordinate the leasing/environmental assessment process as
required by federal landlords with CDRMS requirements, and hope that together we can all
develop a better way of doing this actions.
Please let us know of any further issues we need to resolve.
Respectfully submitted,

Nathan A.
