III.COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br /> Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br /> the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br /> facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action need cleaning. <br /> Proeessine Waste: The ditch RDA-1 Bon the north side of the RDA has been cleaned. The ditch has <br /> been reshaped and rock check dams re-set.. but do not appear to have been keyed into the ditch side <br /> slopes. RDA-I B appears to have a bottom width of approximately 311. with a depth of 2 feet. Please <br /> assure that RDA-1 B is configured in accordance with the design found in Exhibit 26A Appendix D. <br /> The haul road on the RDA is well graded, side ditches shaped and runoff off the pile is directed to and <br /> staying in the appropriate ditches. The 4 18" dia. Culverts in ditch RDA-2 under the RDA haul road <br /> need cleaning. the culvert under the Clean Coal Pile access road needs clean out. TCC has submitted <br /> TR67 for a large expansion of the existing refuse pile. This revision continues to be under review. I CC <br /> continues to place coal waste on the RDA. End dump piles are drying on the surface of the pile. One <br /> haul truck was hauling coal waste at the time of the inspection. <br /> RDA-1 B: Cleaned out and reshaped <br /> Rcveeetation: TCC conducts regular weed control throughout the mine. Canada thistle (< 'h mun <br /> a)ven.se) has greened back up since earlier weed control measures. Patches identified during the <br /> inspection that need fall spraying include the north side of the RDA, along ditch RDA-1 B. and around <br /> Sediment Pond 6MN. TCC will need to seed some areas this fall. Waterline installation. 6MN outslope, <br /> Thickener undertlow line at the Brown Palace. and 181-T topsoil stockpile are the noted areas that will <br /> need seeding. <br /> 4 of WHITE-File YELLOW-Operator PINK-Specialist <br />
