III.COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br /> Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br /> the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br /> facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br /> Support Facilities: TCC continues to clean up the hydraulic oil spill at 6MN facilities area. The affected <br /> area has been excavated and the affected -soil- has been placed on brattiee and is venting. TCC will <br /> sample the soil for hydrocarbons and will dispose the material at the County landfill. TCC will need to <br /> find appropriate material to backtill the hole. I is also experiencing, rock dust leakage at this 6MN <br /> location. TCC had a vacuum truck on its wasMan <br /> . .. <br /> y r f i sff is ntq <br /> 6MN hydraulic oil spill excavation ..._. '... 61VIN affected 'soil" on bratfice <br /> I8LT Ventilation shaft pad area construction continues. The Contractors v\ere drilling both of the large <br /> boreholes simultaneously. The drilling process has encountered some difficulties with lining the right <br /> borehole. l'he left borehole was being reamed out at the time of the inspection. Despite the drilling <br /> difficulties, the sediment control system was dry and no problems on the pad were noted. The <br /> transformers are being installed and the power poles were in place. A guardrail has been installed along <br /> the access road to the pad. <br /> The emergency overflow sump south of the Wash Plants 1 & 2 had dried up. Regrading of this location <br /> needs to be conducted this Fall. <br /> The NW ditch at the BOB pile is in good shape. TCC has cleaned out the coal. and has placed posts at <br /> the edge of the pile extent may assist dozer operators in recognizing the edge of the ditch. The operator <br /> will also place reflective signs on the posts so they are visible during adverse weather conditions. <br /> TCC will dismantle one of the fans at EMD vent fan area and move it to the 18LT boreholes. EMD vent <br /> fan area is in good shape with runoff controlled through the SAE's. To problems were noted at this <br /> location. <br /> 5 of 6 WHITE-File YELLOW-Operator PINK-Specialist <br />
