the mine with signs warning of the operation and shall <br />restrict public access. <br />7. All roadways, including the entry way into the mining site, <br />that are longer than 100 feet and used for ingress and <br />egress from the public roadway to the area of the mining <br />operation shall be paved to Jefferson County standards for <br />the local street template and cleaned and maintained to <br />minimize fugitive dust which is generated by vehicles. <br />Such cleaning shall also be accomplished along Highway 93 <br />at the point where this ingress/egress road is located. <br />The access road shall be paved 1300 feet from the point of <br />ingress/egress at Highway 93 to the edge of the mining <br />boundary. <br />8. The outer limits of the excavation must be at least thirty <br />feet from the boundary line of the Mineral-Conservation <br />(M-C) Zone District in which the mining is to occur. <br />9. All ridges or peaks created by the mining activity shall <br />not be narrower than thirty feet in width at any point. <br />10. All final slopes created by the mining operation that <br />surround lakes and water shall rise at a rate no greater <br />than one vertical foot per three horizontal feet for at <br />least five feet above and ten feet below the water line at <br />all times. All other final mining slopes shall rise at a <br />rate no greater than one vertical foot per two horizontal <br />feet. <br />11. All activities shall meet all applicable air quality <br />standards as set by the Colorado Air Quality Control <br />Commission, and all Federal and County regulations for air <br />quality control. The operator shall conform to all current <br />Federal, State and County regulations and standards <br />concerning fugitive dust. Unpaved roads, work areas and <br />stockpiles shall be watered as necessary to control <br />fugitive dust. The operator of the sand and gravel <br />operation shall seek and obtain a Fugitive Dust Emission <br />Permit from the State Health Department. The sand and <br />gravel operator shall install and use spray bars on <br />processing equipment at all dust producing points, and in <br />addition, periodically water down stockpiles and unimproved <br />haul roads as per the permit requirements.
