Work has started to fill the <br />shaft with oversize rock for backfill. <br />Underground working 2020, northwest of the LOB Pad, has been backfilled with minus 24-inch on <br />site material. <br />C) Lateral/Slot Remediation <br />No work performed during shift. <br />III) Stormwater Management Structures <br />A) LOB Stormwater Culverts <br />No work performed during shift. <br />B) Roadside ditch <br />No work performed during shift. <br />C) Best Management Practices (BMP) <br />Best Management Practices are performed throughout the LOB project. <br />IV)LOB Geosynthetics <br />A) LLDPE Geomembrane 80 and 100 mil LLDPE <br />Observed and assessed the damage to the LOB Pad geomembrane due to blasting on the LOB <br />Delivery Road. Fly rock damaged the liner. On Saturday, Berhan Keffelew, :Environmental <br />Protection Specialist with the State of Colorado, requested that all panels be removed with the <br />exception of the 5H: IV slope tying in to the Phase IV VLF geomembrane. There are <br />approximately 8 repairs needed on the 5H: 1V slope. All other existing panels will be removed and <br />replaced using 100 mil single sided textured LLDPE geomembrane. <br />Lone Star arrived on site Saturday. Work commenced on the temporary water storage pond. Work <br />on the LOB Pad to start on Sunday. <br />Lone Star Personnel: Equipment: <br />1-Foreman 1- Double fusion welder, 1-Extrusion Welder <br />1-Seamer/Operator 2 Generators, 1 Tensiometer <br />4- Laborers <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />Double shift work activities for the past week were overburden rock excavation and transport to the Joe <br />Dandy Main Cresson backfill area.
