Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation
Underground working 2036, located within the planned LOB conveyor transfer station 5:
Work continues to expose the remainder of the shaft and stope as the cut advances down
slope and up slope from the existing underground working. Shaft and stope is backfilled as
the cut advances.
Underground working 2030 (Raven upper tunnel), located within the; LOB Delivery Road:
As the cut continues, AMEC recommends backfilling the shaft (for safety) with -24-inch
on site rock. Therefore, it is anticipated the shaft will be removed once the LOB Delivery
road is nearing plan grade.
Sheet 3 of 11
LOB Weekly Report WE 04.18.09.D
