AN% <br />ame <br />Earth & Environmental <br />2. LOB Delivery Road <br />Overburden shot rock this past week between Stations 25+50 (+/-) and 30+00(+/-) <br />and between Stations 2+00(+/-) and 4+00(+/-) has been transported to the Joe <br />Dandy Main Cresson backfill using 5 Cat 777, and 3 to 7 Volvo Haul Trucks, a <br />Komatsu 800 excavator, and a CAT 875 track excavator aided by a Cat D-10 <br />dozer. (Double shift work) <br />Rockbreakers has continued drilling the LOB Delivery Road cut between Stations <br />25+50 (+/-) to 22+50 (+/-) and 20+50 (+/-) to 22+00 (-F/-) for blasting. The <br />aforementioned areas this past Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday were shot. <br />Rockbreakers has been working double shifts. Four track drill rigs are working. <br />3. LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />No overburden rock transported to the Joe Dandy Main Cresson backfill. <br />D. Cut to Fill <br />1. LOB Pad <br />Work is complete. <br />2. LOB Delivery Road <br />Overburden shot rock between stations 30+00 (+/-) and 29+00 (+/-) transported <br />with two Volvo haul trucks to the LOB Delivery road fill section between stations <br />36+00 (+/-) and 40+00 (+/-) early in the week. By Tuesday, the fill was <br />completed. Additional equipment working the fill: 1 D-8 Dozer, 2 D-6 Dozers, <br />one Komatsu 800 track excavator, and one smooth drum vibratory roller. Fill <br />placement by method specification as outlined in the Project Documents. <br />3. LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />Rockbreakers completed drilling blasting pattern at cut area at conveyor transfer <br />station 5. Cut area has not been shot yet. <br />E. Subgrade Preparation <br />1. LOB Pad Soil Liner Fill (SLF) <br />Completed the SLF and fine grading the LOB Pad on. Wednesday AM in <br />preparation for the Geomembrane. Field densities taken by Nuclear Methods <br />(ASTM D-2922 & 3017) are passing with tests > 95% of Standard Proctor <br />(ASTM D-698). Water contents are averaging about 1% to 2% over optimum. <br />Depth checks to verify clay thickness were taken and recorded on the SLF. <br />Depths measured meet or exceed the project specifications. All depth check holes <br />were filled with a mixture of bentonite and water. <br />2. LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />Conveyor Alignment 1, Station 0+00: Repairs to the Geomembrane have been <br />completed, tested and recorded on Phase IV pad. 2-feet of drain cover fill was <br />placed on the Geomembrane completing the work. 2-feet of select structural fill <br />placed and compacted to the bottom elevation of the planned footing. In place <br />densities by Nuclear Methods (ASTM D-2922 & 3017) indicated tests were <br />Sheet 2 of 11 <br />LOB Weekly Report WE 04.18.09.D
