Good Housekeeping <br />Good housekeeping practices at the site are designed to maintain a clean and orderly work <br />environment. This is accomplished through proper operation and maintenance of machinery and <br />processing equipment. Careful material storage practices have been implemented., House <br />keeping includes prevention and/or reduction of spilled aggregate and other, particulate material. <br />Principal good housekeeping procedures are as follows: <br />• The material inventory is kept up to date, and all containers are labeled with the <br />name and associated hazards,, <br />Material safety data sheets (MSDS) are available on site to ensure that operation <br />staff is aware of hazards and pollution potential. <br />• Routine cleanup operations are ongoing and scheduled to ensure that the storage <br />areas and maintenance areas are clean and orderly.. <br />• Good housekeeping, including cleanup procedures and disposal requirements, are <br />incorporated into employee training. <br />• Solid waste receptacles are available on site and are emptied regularly. <br />33d' Avenue Pit, Concrete. & Asphalt Facilities <br />Storm Water Managemettt Plan <br />Page 14 of 21
