This process was performed in accordance with the method specification and a <br />previously established test fill. Ambient temperatures were monitored through out fill <br />placement <br />Structural fill continued on the northwest slope of the pad. Structural fill was placed in loose <br />18 to 24-inch loose horizontal lifts (depending on rock size) and moisture conditioned. <br />Spreading and keying into the existing slope was performed using a CAT D-6 dozer. <br />Compaction was achieved using one CAT smooth drum vibratory roller passing over the entire <br />surface of the lift a minimum of 4 passes. This process was performed in accordance with the <br />method specification and a previously established test fill. Ambient temperatures were <br />monitored throughout. <br />E) MSE Walls <br />1) MSE Wall <br />No work performed during the week. <br />E) AGOSA (Arequa Gulch Overburden Storage Area) Material Processing <br />Material processing was performed intermittently throughout the week. <br />F) Miscellaneous <br />No work performed during the week. <br />II) Underground Working <br />A) Drilling <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B) Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation <br />Underground working 2036, located within the planned LOB Conveyor Transfer Station #5: The <br />shaft was located by survey. Due to the proximity of the shaft to the planned footings, the shaft <br />must be remediated per the Remediation Plan, Conveyor Pad No. 5-Shaft 2036, Dated 7 April <br />2009. <br />Underground working 2040: AMEC is waiting for survey data to add the working to the map and <br />spreadsheet. Remediation is complete. <br />Underground working 2030 (Raven upper tunnel) located within the LOB Delivery Road: As the <br />cut advances the working has been backfilled (for safety) with 24-inch minus rock. It is anticipated <br />the shaft will be removed once the LOB Delivery road is near final grade. <br />Underground working 2015 (Tornado Shaft) was previously exposed. The shaft has been <br />backfilled to the existing ground surface. <br />C) Lateral/Slot Remediation <br />No work performed during shift. <br />Sheet 3 of 10 <br />LOB Weekly Report WE 05.09.09.D
