• Provide guidelines for emergency responses for known hazards and hazardous • <br />situations. <br />• Specify actions required to comply with applicable and relevant (i) Occupational SafetY <br />and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, (2) state and local regulations. <br />This SHP is intended as a guideline that allows the SSHO to respond to changing conditions and <br />make professional judgments regarding the interpretation of monitoring data and related <br />control measures. The SHP also delineates health and safety responsibilities and how those <br />responsibilities are assigned to project and office personnel. The SHP must be read and <br />understood by AMSO employees and subcontractor personnel. The specific requirements of the <br />SHP apply to AMSO employees and its subcontractors involved in implementing the described <br />scope of work. This SHP will be maintained by the SSHO onsite at the project area. Site <br />personnel can access the SHP at anytime. Personnel are required to sign an employee <br />acknowledgement form as acceptance of, agreement with, and understanding of the contents of <br />the SHP. The ackno-vvledgement form is provided in Appendix A. <br />1.2 Scope of Work <br />AMSO conducts engineering work on a project site related to energy developments. AMSO's <br />general work tasks may include but are not limited to: <br />• Well Construction, Hydraulic Testing, Monitoring, and Sampling <br />• Surface-Water Flow Monitoring and Sampling, <br />• Geologic Mapping and Hydrologic Reconnaissance, <br />Project sites may involve construction activities by other companies or subcontractors of AMSC1 <br />and have inherent historical anthropogenic and natural safety concerns. <br />1.3 Implementation and Modification of the Safety and Health Plan <br />The SSHO is responsible for the implementation of the SHP and will perform daily inspections <br />of the site, dependent on field conditions. Information noted in the inspection will include any <br />areas of deficiency, type of deficiency, corrective action to be taken or which has been taken, the <br />responsible party for the corrective action, date of follow-up inspection(s), and signature of the <br />SSHO and the Project Manager.
