SECTION II - REVISIONS TO THE PERMIT <br />The following is a summary of the revisions to the permit since the Permit Renewal No. 5 <br />Findings Document dated December 15, 2006. <br />Revision No. Approval date Nature of revision <br /> <br />MR-50 01/25/2007 Change of Address for Landowner <br />MR-51 02/21/2007 Change of Interests Information <br />MR-52 06/20/2007 Well Abandonment Reports <br />MR-53 05/05/2008 Retention of West Ridge Diversion Ditch <br />TR-47 02/06/2007 Reduction in Monitoring Program <br />SO-01 01/31/2008 Name Change from The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining <br /> Co. to Chevron Mining, inc. <br />SECTION III - STATUS OF STIPULATIONS <br />No stipulations have been terminated or added to Permit C-1980-001 since the last permit <br />renewal (RN-05). The permit only has one active stipulation, as follows: <br />Stipulation 38 <br />Water from NPDES point 007 will not be used as surface irrigation water unless the <br />operator first demonstrates and the Division finds that irrigation with that water will not <br />result in material damage. <br />Stipulation 38 remains in effect. <br />SECTION IV - MIDTERM ADEQUACY QUESTIONS <br />Pursuant to 2.08.3, the Division finds that the permit application C-1980-001 contains no <br />deficiencies following the review for the purpose of fulfilling the requirements of the Colorado <br />Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, and the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. <br />SECTION V - PERMIT VARIANCES AND SPECIFIC APPROVALS <br />There are no specific variances and approvals by the Division for the Edna Mine. <br />SECTION VI - BONDING SUMMARY <br />Table 1 summarizes the bond releases that have occurred in association with Permit C-1980-001. <br />Edna Mine -4- 4/15/2009
