amec <br />Earth 8 Environmental <br />2) AGOSA (Arequa Gulch Overburden Storage Area) Material Processing <br />Material processing continued throughout the week. <br />G) Miscellaneous <br />Completed work on the 9775 VLF bench widening on the existing Phase IV VLF for the <br />planned relocation of the existing solution lines by midweek. The bench widening and laying <br />the slopes back to approximately 2H: IV was performed using an excavator. Excess ore was <br />transported to the Phase IV VLF ore heap using two Volvo A40D haul trucks. <br />III) Underground Working <br />A) Drilling <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B) Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation <br />No work performed during the week. <br />C) Lateral/Slot Remediation <br />No work.performed during the week. <br />IV) Storm water Management Structures <br />A) Control Structures <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B) Best Management Practices <br />Best Management Practices are being performed throughout the VLF Phase 5 Project. <br />V) VLF Geosynthetics <br />A) LLDPE Geomembrane 80 mil and 100 mil <br />No work performed during the week. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />Observed placement of structural fill placed between stations L2+00 (+/-) to L8+00 (+/-) approximately <br />75 to 225-feet left of centerline, K10+00 (+/-) to K7+00 (+/-) at or near centerline to 100-feet left of <br />centerline and B10+00 (+/-) to B14+00 (+/-) at or near centerline to 100-feet right of centerline. <br />Testing Summary <br />Laboratory testing continues (Gradations, Atterberg Limit, and Moisture-Density Relationships) for <br />previously sampled materials, throughout both shifts. <br />Sheet 3 of 6 <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 05.02.09.D.doc
