amec' <br />Earth & Environmental <br />D) Cut to Fill <br />1) VLF <br />Suitable structural fill material during the week from the LOB Delivery Road cut from between <br />stations 33+00 (+/-) to 26+50 (+/-), 15+50 (+/-) to 17+00 (+/-) and 2+00 (+/-) to 4+00 (+/-) <br />was hauled to the VLF using all haulage equipment (CAT 777 and Volvo A40D). The <br />structural fill material was placed and compacted between stations L2+00 (+/-) to L8+00 (+/-) <br />approximately 75 to 225-feet left of centerline and between stations B 10+00 (+/-) to B14+00 <br />(+/-) at or near centerline to 100-feet right of centerline. One Cat D-8 dozer was used to spread <br />the structural fill in 24" lifts. Compaction was achieved using a 563 vibratory smooth drum <br />compactor to pass over the entire fill surface at least 4 times. Ambient and fill temperatures <br />were monitored during fill placement. No frozen materials were placed. <br />2) VLF, PSSA Haul Road <br />Suitable structural fill material during the week from the LOB Delivery Road cut from between <br />stations 4+00 (+/-) to 2+00 (+/-) and 15+50 (+/-) to 17+00 (+/-) was hauled to the VLF using <br />all haulage equipment (CAT 777 and Volvo A40D). The structural fill material was placed and <br />compacted between stations K10+00 (+/-) to K7+00 (+/-) at or near centerline to 100-feet left <br />of centerline. One Cat D-8 dozer was used to spread the structural fill material. One Cat D-8 <br />dozer was used to spread the structural fill in 24" lifts. Compaction was achieved using a 563 <br />vibratory smooth drum compactor to pass over the entire fill surface at least 4 times. Ambient <br />and fill temperatures were monitored during fill placement. No frozen materials were placed. <br />3) Sediment Collection Pond <br />Additional fill has been placed periodically during the week in the pond bottom. <br />E) Subgrade Preparation <br />1) VLF <br />No work performed during the week. <br />2) Sediment Collection Pond <br />Suitable structural fill from the LOB Delivery road cut was hauled intermittently to the <br />sediment pond for completion of the pond floor to design subgrade elevation. The fill was <br />spread in 24" loose lifts with a Cat D-6 dozer and compacted using a 563 vibratory smooth <br />drum compactor passing over the entire lift surface at least 4 times. <br />F) Material Processing <br />1) South Cresson Clay Process <br />Soil Liner Fill production for the VLF continued at the South Cresson Clay Process.
