VLF
Suitable structural fill material during the week from the LOB Delivery Road cut from
between stations 23+50 (+/-) to 24+50 (+/-), 32+50 (+/-) to 31+50 (+/-) and 2+00 (+/-)
to 4+00 (+/-) was hauled to the VLF using all haulage equipment (CAT 777 and Volvo
A40D). The structural fill material was placed and compacted between stations L2+00
(+/-) to L8+00 (+/-) approximately 75 to 125-feet left of centerline. One Cat D-8 dozer
was spreading and benching the fill. Compaction was achieved using a vibratory
smooth drum compactor. Ambient and fill temperatures were monitored during fill
placement. No frozen materials were placed.
Suitable structural fill material during the week from the LOB Delivery Road cut from
between stations 29+00 (+/-) to 28+50 (+/-) and 19+50 (+/-) to 21+50 (+/-) was hauled
to the VLF using all haulage equipment (CAT 777 and Volvo A40D).
