Miscellaneous <br />On Wednesday, work continued on the 9775 VLF bench widening on the existing Phase IV <br />VLF for the planned relocation of the existing solution lines. Widening of the bench and <br />laying the slopes back to approximately 21-1: 1V. Excess ore was transported to the Phase <br />IV VLF ore heap using two Volvo A40D haul trucks. CC&V has authorized additional <br />500-feet of bench widening to continue west of Station G32+00 (+/-). <br />II. Underground Working <br />A. Drilling <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B. Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation <br />No work performed during the week. <br />C. Lateral/Slot Remediation <br />No work performed during the week. <br />III. Storm water Management Structures <br />A. Control Structures <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B. Best Management Practices <br />Best Management Practices are being performed throughout the VLF Phase 5 Project. <br />IV. VLF Geosynthetics <br />A. LLDPE Geomembrane 80 mil and 100 mil <br />Lone Star (Installer) arrived on site Saturday. Deployment of 100 mil single sided textured <br />LLDPE geomembrane for the temporary water storage pond. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />Work in the VLF during the week progressed with suitable structural fill transported from cut areas of the <br />LOB Delivery Road.. <br />Sheet 3 of 6 <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 04.25.09.D.doc
