Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation
Remediation work for underground working 2019 located within the LOB Pad on Tuesday
has been completed. The underground working was backfilled with coarse shaft backfill.
Underground working 2036, located within the planned LOB conveyor transfer station 5,
was re-visited by John Lupo, P.E. For backfilling the shaft, a written remediation plan via
e-mail to CC&V was sent. Work continues to expose the remainder of the shaft and stope
as the cut advances down slope and up slope from the existing underground working.
During night shift work on Tuesday, underground working 2030 (Raven upper tunnel),
located within the LOB Delivery Road, has been exposed. As the cut continues, AMEC
recommends backfilling the shaft (for safety) with -24-inch on site rock. Therefore, it is
anticipated the shaft will be removed once the LOB Delivery road is nearing plan grade.
Lateral/Slot Remediation
No work performed during shift
III.
