AIVIL <br />amec <br />Earth & Environmental <br />2. LOB Delivery Road <br />Overburden shot rock this past week between Stations 25+50 (+/-) and 30+00(+/-) <br />and between Stations 16+00(+/-) and 13+00(+/-) has been transported to the Joe <br />Dandy Main Cresson backfill using 5 Cat 777 Haul Trucks, a Komatsu 800 <br />excavator, and a CAT 875 track excavator aided by a Cat D-10 dozer. (Double <br />shift work) <br />Rockbreakers has continued drilling the LOB Delivery Road cut between Stations <br />25+50 (+/-) and 22+50 (+/-) for blasting. Blasting has been completed in the <br />aforementioned area this past Monday through Thursday. Rockbreakers has been <br />working double shifts. <br />3. LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />No overburden rock transported to the Joe Dandy Main Cresson backfill. <br />D. Cut to Fill <br />1. LOB Pad <br />Work is complete. <br />2. LOB Delivery Road <br />Overburden shot rock between stations 30+00 (+/-) and 29+00 (+/-) was <br />transported with two Volvo haul trucks to the LOB Delivery road fill section <br />between stations 36+00 (+/-) and 40+00 (+/-) during the week. By late Friday, <br />the fill is within 2 feet of finished grade, left of centerline of road 0 to 50 feet. <br />Right of centerline of road is to grade. Additional equipment working the fill: 1 <br />D-8 Dozer, 2 D-6 Dozers, one Komatsu 800 track excavator, and one smooth <br />drum vibratory roller. Fill placement by method specification as outlined in the <br />Project Documents. <br />3. LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />Rockbreakers drilling blasting pattern at cut area at conveyor transfer station 5: <br />Cut to fill at the downhill side of the pad. Fill placement by method specification. <br />One CAT 345 track excavator is placing fill and one CAT vibratory roller used <br />for compacting <br />E. Subgrade Preparation <br />1. LOB Pad Soil Liner Fill (SLF) <br />During the week, structural fill was transported for completing the subgrade in <br />preparation for the SLF placement. To construct the anchor trench, structural fill <br />was placed and compacted in lifts adjacent to the rock cut <br />On Friday the existing subgrade was processed (watered) prior to placing SLF <br />followed with the transport of the SLF with 7 Volvo haul trucks. SLF is from the <br />Phase IV existing stockpile located in the AGOSA Material Processing area. One <br />D-6 Dozer is spreading the SLF. The SLF was spread to loose lift thickness today <br />(>12-inches). SLF will be compacted prior to the deployment of the <br />Geomembrane. At that time, SLF depth checks and field densities are to be <br />performed. The imported SLF was sampled for project compliance. The Phase <br />IV liner for the planned pad geomembrane tie-in has been exposed. <br />Sheet 2 of 12 <br />LOB Weekly Report WE 04.11.09.D
