• The Anchoria -Leland site may be impacted by the proposed extension of the East Cresson <br />(Schist Island portion) surface mine. <br /> <br />N v 1-1m Fv fz.-k? <br />• The International Mine is a smaller mine complex located lust southwest of the Anchoria-Leland <br />Mine on Gold Hill. The wood headframe measures approximately 17 ft. x 40 ft. (with diagonal <br />supports) and is 50' tall. The main four-post style frame measures approximately 9 ft. x 7 ft. <br />Tlie associated hoist house is approximately 20 ft x 25 ft and constructed of wood frame with <br />corrugated metal siding (mostly gone). The International, like the Anchoria-Leland Mine, does <br />not appear to have been included in the archaeological surveys completed in the 1990s. This site <br />may he impacted by the proposed Squaw Gulch Overburden Storage Area Extension. <br />• <br />International Mine <br />Ah?
