Miscellaneous <br />Work continued on the 9775 VLF bench widening on the existing Phase IV VLF for the <br />planned relocation of the existing solution lines. Widening of the bench and laying the <br />slopes back to an approximate 21-1: IV. Work appears to be nearing completion. Excess <br />ore has been transported to the Phase IV ore heap using 4-Volvo haul trucks. <br />II. Underground Working <br />A. Drilling <br />No work performed this week. <br />B. Additional information is required. <br />The crew has completed MSHA training this week. Work will begin the following week <br />for the water storage pond (not part of contract). Additional required information for <br />approval will be obtained at that time. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. Field observations within the northwest portion of the VLF included stripping <br />of all frozen and unsuitable materials and placement of structural fill using the method specification as <br />outlined in the Project Documents.
