AN% <br />amec <br />Ea" 8 Environmental <br />G. Miscellaneous <br />None <br />II. Underground Working <br />A. Drilling <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B. Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation <br />Some of the underground workings identified in Figure 1, Revision A, will be remediated <br />as a result of them being removed due to excavation to final grade. All underground <br />workings, whether requiring remediation or not as determined by engineering, will be <br />checked and verified in the field during construction activities. This is on going as the <br />work progresses. Additional areas which are located and surveyed by Ames during <br />construction are forwarded to CC&V and AMEC. This past week no remediation work <br />was performed. <br />Lateral/Slot Remediation <br />No work performed this week. <br />III. Stormwater Management Structures <br />A. LOB Stormwater Culverts <br />No work performed this week. <br />B. Roadside ditch <br />No work performed this week. <br />C. Best Management Practices (BMP) <br />No work performed this week. Existing silt fencing structures appear to be in good <br />condition. <br />IV. LOB Geosynthetics <br />A. LLDPE Geomembrane 80 and 100 mil LLDPE <br />Lone Star (Installer): Submittal pending approval. Additional information required. <br />Mobilization of the Geosynthetics installation crew is scheduled for next week. The crew <br />will be attending MSHA training that week. Work will begin the following week for the <br />water storage pond (not part of contract). Additional required information for approval will <br />be obtained at that time. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />Double shift work activities for the past week were overburden rock excavation and transport to the Joe <br />Dandy stockpile area. The work concentrated within the upper LOB Delivery Road from Station <br />32+00(+/-) advancing to Station 26+00(+/-). <br />Sheet 3 of 9 <br />LOB Weekly Report WE 03.28.09.13
