Overburden Rock to Stockpile <br />LOB Pad <br />During the week, a Komatsu 800 excavator was used in the LOB Pad area for <br />removal of all shot rock for transport to the Joe Dandy stockpile. Transport to the <br />stockpile using four Volvo haul trucks. <br />2. LOB Delivery Road <br />Overburden shot rock this past week from Stations 32+00 (+/-) to 26+00(+/-) and <br />Stations 1+00(+/-) to 3+00(+/-) has been transported to the Joe Dandy stockpile <br />using 4 Cat 777 Haul Trucks, a Komatsu 800 excavator, and a CAT 875 track <br />excavator aided by a Cat D-10 dozer. (Double shift work) <br />Rockbreakers continue drilling the LOB Delivery Road cut between Stations <br />19+00(+/-) to 17+00(+/-) for blasting. Blasting was scheduled most every day this <br />week. Rockbreakers has been working double shifts, weather permitting. <br />3. LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />No overburden rock transported to Joe Dandy stockpile. <br />D. Cut to Fill <br />1. LOB Pad <br />No work performed during the week. <br />2. LOB Delivery Road <br />Shot overburden from Stations 32+00(+/-) to 26+00(+/-) was transported to <br />Stations 35+00(+/-) to 37+50(+/-). A Cat D10 dozer was used for the fill <br />placement and compaction by method specification was performed using a <br />smooth drum vibratory roller. Due to cold conditions, fill temperatures were <br />recorded during periods of fill placement. Results indicate no "frozen" material <br />was placed. <br />3. LOB Conveyor Corridor <br />Earlier in the week, minor fill was placed at transfer station 6. <br />E. Subgrade Preparation <br />1. LOB Pad <br />No work performed during the week. <br />F. SLF Processing (Material is being generated/processed for the LOB and the VLF) <br />The SLF clay plant, located in SGOSA (Squaw Gulch Overburden Storage Area) <br />Dump 5 is in the process of being dismantled.
