ame <br />Earth B Environmental <br />Ames Construction: <br />Daily safety meetings are performed prior to each shift. These have been used to discuss work areas, <br />procedures, testing requirements, etc with the Ames supervisors and equipment operators. <br />Stressing the use of chocks on all vehicles and equipment. <br />A mandatory 10-mph within the 5-way must be adhered to. <br />AMEC and Ames discussed daily work activities during the week and work procedures for fill placement. <br />Continue discussions on oversize rock. Ames is removing oversize from structural VLF fill. <br />Discussed cold weather fill placement on Friday AM, referring to the Specifications. Discussed the <br />removal of snow between lifts and scarifying a minimum of 2-inches prior to subsequent lifts. <br />AMEC: <br />Derek W, Project Manager - General project status and progress, field testing and planned work during <br />the week, laboratory setup status. Derek was on site this past Wednesday to review the work progress to <br />date. <br />E-mail correspondence regarding the abandoned mine workings has been sent to John Lupo.
