Mine Shaft/Stope Remediation <br />Some of the mine workings identified in Figure 1, Revision A, will be remediated as a <br />result of the locations being removed following excavation to grade. All mine workings, <br />whether requiring remediation or not as determined by engineering, will be checked and <br />verified in the field during construction activities. Additional areas have been found by <br />Ames during construction and the information has been forwarded to AMEC this past <br />week. Field observations during the week of the areas where accessible have been either <br />backfilled or removed during the cut of the LOB/Delivery Road. <br />A site visit by AMEC Engineering is planned for early next week to evaluate the existing <br />abandon mine workings within the conveyor alignment. <br />C. Lateral/Slot Remediation <br /> No Activities <br />III. Stormwater Management Structures <br />A. LOB Stormwater Culverts <br /> No Activities <br />B. Roadside ditch <br /> No Activities <br />C. Best Management Practices (BMPs) <br />No Activities. Existing silt fencing structures appeared to be in good condition. <br />IV. LOB Geosynthetics <br />A. LLDPE Geomembrane 80 and 100 mil LLDPE <br />Poly-Flex delivered 28 rolls of 100 mil single-sided textured LLDPE and 5 rolls of 80 mil <br />smooth LLDPE. Delivery was this past Wednesday and Thursday. All rolls were <br />inventoried and observed for damage. No apparent damage was observed during transport. <br />The rolls are stored at the Arequa Processing Pad.
