Total Soil Demand to re-soil affected lands. NOTE: The soil demand (and related costs) will decrease proportionately as extraction activities increase over each Tract of planned extraction. Based upon estimated soil resources in stockpile, and a minor amount in-situ in Tract B, there is presently an excess of 25,215 cu..yds. of soil available for reclamation. This is the amount presently available for sale from existing stockpiles. The balance will be reserved until liberated by continued extraction activities over the Tracts, since obviously soil will not be needed for locations below anticipated water levels. Additional soil resources will be liberated on a percent basis of the area fill of Tract D. The majority of soil placement can occur using the five remaining stockpiles with an average placement distance of 600 ft. utilizing a Cat 637E. Since there is some swell, the volume of stockpiled soil is multiplied by a swell fact or 1.33 to this effect: 58,620.5 cu.yds. of soil demand x 1.33 77,964.6 L.cu.yds. x $0.413 per L.cu.yd.
