This area will be exhausted in a few years and mining
will proceed to Phase II. Plant operations will continue in the Phase I
'
area.
Phase II - Mining of the 44 acres in Phase II will commence in the
southeast, corner and advance northward then westward across the area
ending in the western-most portion of the area. Total extraction is
estimated to take approximately seven years.
' on
ommencin
d
i
ill b
g
c
e m
ne
Phase III The 21 acres in Phase III w
l , the western boundary and will proceed eastward to completion in approximately
a three 'to four year period.
Approximately 12 acres devoted to plant site and stockpiles will
remain a major disturbance throughout the life of the operation.
Presently about 27 acres exist in a state of moderate disturbance. This
area will progressively decrease as mining converts these areas to ponds
with reclaimed shorelines. Land surface being prepared for revegetation
r and recently reseeded will represent roughly ten acres of minor disturbance
at any one time.

t
J
