LLDPE Geomembrane <br />• No Activities <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />Work activities during the week observed the removal and placement of topsoil in the LOB areas. Topsoil <br />stripping was largely completed by 2/16, fill placement within the LOB/Delivery Road from Station <br />34+50 to 38+00, backfilling over the mine working No. 27, widening of the LOB ROW areas to allow for <br />use of 777 and 740 trucks being assembled by Ames and excavation to stockpile and cut to fill in the LOB <br />Pad to Delivery Road areas. <br />No night shift activities were done in the LOB this week other than intermittent SLF processing. <br />Mechanical problems resulted in reduced production during the week. <br />No work was performed by Ames on Saturday, February 21. Currently no work activities are planned for <br />Saturdays but Ames has indicated that Saturday will be used as a make up day in the event of delay or <br />stoppage during the current planned work periods Monday to Friday. Amec had one staff on site Saturday <br />21 for half a day to begin processing of soil samples collected during the week. <br />1. Testing Summary <br />Amec began processing of clay and structural fill samples collected during the week. <br />One sample was collected from the structural fill being placed within the LOB/Delivery Road fill from <br />Station 34+50 to 38+00. <br />Sheet 4 of 10 <br />LOB Weekly Report WE 02.21.09
