Production of the SLF material continued at the clay plant throughout the week.
Approximately 4967 tons of clay was processed throughout the week as provided
by Ames in their daily reports.
G. Miscellaneous
1. AMEC visually inspected the adit located beneath the fill approximately 80 feet
left of centerline near Station 37+00 on February 6, 2009. The location of the adit
is identified as point 27 shown in Figure 1. AMEC concluded that no remediation
would be required because the adit was not located beneath a critical area and it
was decided that fill material can be placed directly over the opening. In addition,
the Tornado shaft (point no. 15) and an adjacent stope (point no. 16) were visually
inspected; however, a remediation method was not decided at the time and
additional evaluations would need to be performed by AMEC prior to making a
recommendation.
II.
