<br />The A horizon has hue of 10YR or 2.5Y, value of 4 or 5 dry and 2 or 3
<br />moist, and chroma of 2 or 3. The B2t horizon is commonly heavy clay
<br />loam that is IS to 40 percent clay.
<br />Fort Collins series
<br />The Fort Collins series consists of deep, well drained
<br />soils that formed in alluvium. Fort Collins soils are on
<br />smooth plains and high terraces. Slopes are 0 to 3 per-
<br />cent.
<br />Fort Collins soils are similar to the Olney soils and are
<br />near the Kim and Nunn soils. Olney soils are more than
<br />35 percent fine and coarser sand in the B and C horizons.
<br />Kim soils lack a R horizon. Nunn soils are more than 35
<br />percent clay in the 132t horizon

<br />from 8 to 20 inches.
<br />The A horizon has value of 5 or 6 dry and 4 or 5 moist and chroma of
<br />2 or 3. The 132t horizon is commonly clay loam that is 28 to 35 percent
<br />clay.
<br />Haverson series
<br />The Haverson series consists of deep, well drained soils
<br />that formed in stratified recent loamy alluvium. Haverson
<br />soils are on low terraces and flood plains. Slopes are 0 to
<br />3 percent.

<br />Haverson soils are similar to the Bankard soils and are
<br />near the Colombo and Nunn soils. Bankard soils are
<br />sandy in the C horizon. Colombo and Nunn soils have a
<br />dark colored surface layer.

<br />Heldt soils are near the Colby, Ulm, Weld, and Wiley
<br />soils. Colby soils lack a B horizon. Ulm, Weld, and Wiley
<br />soils have a B2t horizon.
