Exhibit I Soils is adequate.
Exhibit J vegetation is adequate.
Exhibit K weather is adequate.
Exhibit L reclamation cost:
Staff notes that the exhibit does not include mobilization, overhead and insurance and a total for all tasks.
DRMS will calculate the estimated reclamation liability after all issues have been addressed.
Exhibit M, Other permits appears to be adequate.
Exhibit N, Right to Enter appears to be adequate.
Exhibit O Owners of Affected lands appears to be adequate.
Exhibit P Municipalities within 2 miles is adequate.
Exhibit Q Proof of Mailing appears to be adequate.
Exhibit R Proof of Filing with County Clerk is adequate.
Exhibit S Permanent Man Made structures:
Depending on clarification, San Miguel Power lines may need to be added to Exhibit S. The division considers
the historical mine features such as adits, portals and shafts as man-made structures. Please identify these types
of structures and those within 200 feet of the permit boundaries both in Exhibit S and Pre-Mining Map C-1.
Exhibit T DMO Environmental Protection Plan:
Section 1, (b) notes stormwater structures that must meet the Requirements of Rule 7.3.1(3). Please provide
details of stormwater diversion berms that meet the requirements.
Section 1, (c): Please provide data that the 55 gallon barrel is sufficient to meet the requirements of Rule
7.3.1(3).
DBMS will not allow waters collected from the ore bin area to be used for any purpose other than dust control
on the ore bins. Any waters collected will be contaminated from the uranium ores stored there. Use of such
water may very well spread contamination of radioactive materials and other undesirable constituents for whom
the operator would held responsible.
