RECLAMATION SCHEDULE
It is MCC's intention to complete reclamation when reasonably possible, weather
pernlitting, during the 2010 sununer season. Following the P & A of the NIDWs, final
reclamation of the pad sites and indicated spur roads would conunence. Final
reclamation will consist of restoring the pad to the approximate original contours (AOC)
and then pulling the topsoil pile back across to provide cover and grov~~th medium for the
USFS approved seed mix to be applied. Seeding and mulching would be followed by the
appropriate best management practices (BMP's) for that particular site for sedimentation
and erosion control.
RECLAMATION PLAN
MCC plans to reclaim the E 1 Panel roads and pads in 2010, or after they are no longer
needed. These locations are noted on the attached Map and were depicted in TR-111.
The following procedures will be utilized for final reclamation of these sites:
1. Remove all de-gas related equipment, housings and debris from the site.
2. Plug and Abandon the drill hole in accordance with approved procedures
(listed later in this AOP) and remove the well head. A backhoe and a
bulldozer will redistribute material on and around the drill pad to achieve
as closely as practicable the original contour of the site. The area will then
be ripped or scarified to leave an uneven surface.
Stored topsoil will be distributed as evenly as possible over the disturbed
pad area.
4. The entire drill pad area and reclaimed roads will be re-seeded using an
approved USFS seed mix or mixes as directed by the USFS. The
following seed mix is a seed mix that has been approved by the USFS for
drill sites on adjacent lands:
Mountain Shrub Community:
Species PLS lb/Acre
Mountain Brome 3
Prairie Junegrass 3
Western Wheatgrass 4
Indian Ricegrass 2
Sandburg Bluegrass ~
B1ueBunch Wheatgrass
