alternative to the Applicants and the State of Colorado may be for the gas <br />transmission line (and possibly the YVEA line) to be relocated to an easement <br />corridor near the base of the hillside which lies to the south of the proposed pit <br />area. TWO SETS <br />ARE REQUIRED. <br />Response: Two sets of the names and mailing addresses on mailing labels <br />of all property owners adjacent to the property in which the site is located as <br />identified in the Assessors records are enclosed. <br />PROJECT HISTORY <br />The Applicants permitted the Camilletti Milner Pit #1 in 1995-1996 on <br />property directly accessed from Highway 40 just east of Milner. Upon <br />completion of Pit #1, the applicants investigated the site of Milner Pit #2 and <br />obtained a permit after lengthy public hearings in 2000 and 2001 (SUP PP #2000- <br />003), which permit was subsequently amended through hearings in April 2003, <br />and March 2006. Camilletti Milner Pit #2 currently operates under Special Use <br />Permit PP#2005-078. Pit #2 has proved to be an excellent gravel resource with <br />limited impact to the surrounding area.
