The removal of the existing Geology building is needed <br />to facilitate mining activities in the area of the proposed Wildhorse Extension portion of the <br />East Cresson mining area. <br />9) Re-locate the existing sub-station. <br />Response. <br />Just to clarify this statement, the substation relocation will occur even if the MLE Project <br />does not move forward and is not proposed as part of the MLE Project. All work associated <br />with this substation relocation is being performed by Aquila (Black Hills Power). <br />10) Incorporate Permit # M-1991-134 (The Cameron Project) into the Cresson permit area (M- <br />• 1980-244. <br />Response. <br />As is noted, CC&V proposes to incorporate Permit M-1991-134 (The Cameron Project) in <br />the Cresson Project Permit area M-1980-244. <br />11) The total affected area permit acreage as proposed under this Amendment are as follows: 1) <br />1498 acres surface mine areas 2) 616 acres, overburden storage areas, 3) 514 acres valley leach <br />facility and 4) 15.4 acres Carlton Tunnel Discharge area, for a total of 4199 acres.
