The separated inert clean soil with negligible amounts
of asphalt and concrete and the crusher fines are then
to be utilized to create a stable soil on this
property that is suitable for future industrial
development. The inert clean soils material with
negligible amounts of asphalt and concrete are first
utilized as fill material below the water table. Above
the water table, except in areas of future detention
ponds, the inert clean soil. material is also blended
with the crushed fines to create a compacted stable
soil. In the areas of future detention ponds, large
pieces of crushed aggregate material may also be
utilized to facilitate percolation of stormwater in
the future from these ponds.
4. The area of disturbance is 13+_ acres in size, which
includes areas where minor disturbance will be
undertaken to store soil material, to install erosion
control measures, and planting of slope areas.
The site is already fenced and no additional measures
are necessary to control access to the fill area.
Ongoing during the life of the filling, the operator
will make sure this fence and gate onto. the I-76
Service Road is maintained and repaired as necessary
to prevent unauthorized access to the site.
The initial activities on the site will be to install
appropriate erosion and sediment control measures in
accordance with a SWMP Permit that will be obtained
from CDPHE, before the stripping of any soil material
from any portion of the site or other earthmoving
activities on the site. After installation of the
appropriate erosion control measure, existing soil in
the areas of the site to be mined and backfilled will
be stripped and stored for later use as final cover
and for revegetation activities at the conclusion of
reclamation.
2
