Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company MLE Traffic Impact Study
•
•
•
roadways, the proposed realignment of CR 82, and the proposed relocation of the
Ironclad access.
sH ~~ Proposed
Ironclad Approx.
Access- north and east
- boundary of East Cresson CR 81
. Under the MLE
project, these deliveries will be made through the Ironclad access instead of the Carlton
access. These trucks will then travel on an internal mine road to make the deliveries of
diesel, gasoline, and lime to the VLF. This will affect approximately 22 truck deliveries,
causing a total of 44 vehicle trips per day (22 trucks x 2 trips per day per truck) to be
changed from the Carlton access to Ironclad. A positive impact of the change in delivery
route is that these trucks won't travel through the city of Cripple Creek or on about seven
miles of SH 67 between Cripple Creek and Victor.
Table 3 shows the change in the above specified deliveries and how they will affect the
truck deliveries at the Carlton and Ironclad mine access points.
Interstate Engineering, Inc. 9 April, 2008
