Some material for its construction <br /> is available from the Pond, however care must be taken not to damage willows which have <br /> become established within the Pond. The majority of construction material will have to be <br /> imported, possibly from the Pond 15-P10 or stream realignment areas. Gullies cutting into <br /> the road northwest of the pond shall be filled and the road regraded. The existing culvert <br /> at Pond 22-P10 will be supplemented with a 36-inch CPS culvert. It shall be installed <br /> adjacent to and at the same grade as the existing culvert. Estimated length is 50 feet. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> There will be no measurement for Task #5. Payment for Task #5 will be reflected in a <br /> lump sum bid under Item 5 on the Bid Schedule. <br /> Task 6 Ditch Repair, Culvert Installation, and Rock Swale Construction. <br /> Work Description <br /> Two hundred seventy-five (275) feet of ditch, from the south edge of pond 22-P10 to a point <br /> approximately halfway between the Pond and Culvert C-10 will be widened, shaped and <br /> riprapped as shown in Drawing #2. At this point an 8 ft. x 2 ft. berm will be installed <br /> across the ditch and a 30-inch CSP culvert under the road. The culvert will be <br /> approximately 50 feet in length. _ <br /> 7 <br /> At culvert C-3, approximately 800 feet southeast of Pond 22-P1 20-foot wide x 2 ft deep <br /> rock swale will be constructed across the road. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> There will be no measurement for Task #6. Payment for Task #6 will be reflected in a <br /> lump sum bid under Item #6 on the Bid Scliedule. <br /> Task 7 - Spillway Repair and Clean-out of Pond 15-P20 and Removal of Associated Ditch <br /> Pond 15-P20. <br /> Scope of Work <br /> Starting at the Ditch discharge into pond 15-P20, the ditch shall be removed (filled) for a <br /> distance of 350 feet north, and graded to original contour. Revegetation shall be according <br /> to specifications in SeG�20.0 of-the-Gene—"id-Specafications L993. <br /> The emergency spillway of Pond 15-P20 shall be lowered one (1) foot and graded to <br /> accommodate additional riprap (total riprap thickness of 2 feet). Riprap material for the <br /> spillway must consist of durable, irregular rock having a minimum D-50 of 6 inches and D- <br /> max of 9 inches (See Drawing #3 ). Riprap will have to be imported. <br /> The sediment delta in pond 15-P20 shall be removed, and the resulting material <br /> incorporated into the area to be reclaimed at Pond 15-P10. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> 10 <br />
