5. ASK 6-DITCH REPAIR,CULVERT INSTALLATION,AND ROCK SWALE CONSTRUCTION. The <br /> Work Description is changed and clarified to include the following: <br /> Five hundred and fifty feet of ditch, from the south edge of pond 22-P10 to a culvert to <br /> be installed under the haul road shall be widened and shaped as shown in drawing number <br /> 1. <br /> Continuous riprap as depicted in drawing number 1 has been eliminated, thus the <br /> triangular ditch cut dimension shall be a maximum of 8 feet top width with 2 feet of <br /> freeboard. <br /> The last sentence of the 1 st paragraph is changed as follows, "The 30 inch diameter CSP <br /> culvert will be 16 gauge, 50 feet long and will be installed at a 20 percent slope. <br /> As clarification, the culvert backfill shall be mechanically compacted using a hand held <br /> vibrating compactor. <br /> 6. ASK 7-SPILLWAY REPAIR AND CLEANOUT OF POND 15-P20 AND REMOVAL OF <br /> ASSOCIATED DITCH POND 15-P20. The Work Description is changed and clarified to <br /> include the following: <br /> Spillway riprap shall cover an area 10 feet by 20 feet on top of the embankment and <br /> extend 10 feet down the outslope of the spillway. <br /> The riprap D-max shall be changed to 18 inches. <br /> The Project Manager will authorize the use of large non-specification riprap boulders <br /> currently existing on this spillway for placement on the outslope area of the spillway to <br /> augment the specification rock at this location. <br /> The sediment Delta in pond 15-P20, approximately 50 feet by 50 feet shall be removed <br /> down to the existing water line. The sediment shall be hauled to pond 15-P10 and <br /> incorporated in the backfill and grading of this pond removal activity. <br /> 7. TASK 9-DITCH AND GULLY REPAIR. The Work Description is changed and clarified to <br /> include the following: <br /> The large adjacent gully resulting from the ditch failure shall be graded to approximate <br /> original contour and erosion mat will be installed. The Division will provide the erosion <br /> mat materials. <br /> The riprap requirement has been eliminated from this task. <br /> 8. TASK 10-SPILLWAY REPAIR. The Work Description is changed and clarified to include the <br /> following: <br /> The emergency spillway of pond 15-P12 shall be lowered 3 feet and the spillway width <br /> shall be at least 15 feet. <br /> 3 <br />
