PR-12 Exhibit 71 <br />26 <br />4.4.1.7 Spring G-16 <br />Spring 0-16 is located in Sylvester Gulch east of the NE mine panel area (Map 1). This spring issues from a <br />sandstone bed above the F-Seam and flows seasonally. It is typically dry in the late summer and fall. Monitoring <br />at this spring began in 1979. <br />4.4.1.8 Spring G-2 <br />Spring G-24 is located in Sylvester Gulch east of the NE mine panel area (Map 1). This spring issues from <br />alluvium and is measured at the outflow of a plastic drainage pipe. It flows seasonally and is typically dry in the <br />late summer and fall. Monitoring at this spring began in 1979. <br />4.4.1.9 Span G_14 <br />Spring G-14 is located in Sylvester Gulch east of the NE mine panel area (Map 1). This spring issues from <br />fractures in the base of a sandstone bed. It flows seasonally and is typically dry in the late summer and fall. <br />Monitoring at this spring began in 1977. <br />4.4.1.10 Sing G-22 <br />Spring G-22 is located in the Sylvester Gulch drainage on a hillside on the west side of the drainage just south of <br />a mine ventilation shaft and east of the NE mine panel area (Map 1). It issues from alluvium over a wide area and <br />feeds a wetland on the west side of Sylvester Gulch. Flow diminishes in late summer and autumn. Monitoring at <br />this spring began in 1977. <br />4.4.2 Springs above the B Seam in the Box Canyon Area in the North Fork <br />Drainage Basin <br />4.4.2.1 Spring 11-2 <br />Spring 11-2 is located east of Box Canyon on a hillside on the south side of the North Fork (Map 1). This spring <br />is north of the Box Canyon panels. It issues from alluvium below a sandstone cliff, has seasonal flow, and is <br />often dry in summer and autumn. Monitoring at this spring began in 2000. <br />4.4.2.2 Spring 10-1 <br />Spring 10-1 is located on the east side of Lower Box Canyon (Map 1). It is north of the Box Canyon panels and <br />issues from alluvium on slopes tributary to the North Fork. Flow is seasonal and it is typically dry in late <br />sutntner. Monitoring at this spring began in 1999. <br />4.4.2.3 Sri,*t? EIO- 2 <br />Spring E10-2 is located on a hillside east of an unnamed drainage tributary to the North Fork of the Gunnison <br />River between Sylvester Gulch and Box Canyon (Map 1). This spring is in landslide material below a fractured <br />sandstone cliff. It is located north of tht. Box Canyon panels. Flows at Spring E10-2 were recorded in May and <br />June 2005, April 2006, and in April and lklay 2007, but flows were not sufficient to n}eas re in May and <br />September 2006 and all of 2001.2002. 200; and 2004.
