In addition to the initial and final subsidence surveys this monitoring
schedule will result in the monitoring of active subsidence over panel 301L
three times, over panel 302 four times and over 302L three times.
Because of the rugged terrain, both men and surveying equipment will
require helecopter transport to and from the proposed instrumentation area
for each survey if efficiency and cost effectiveness are to be maintained.
Task V - Date Analysis
The data obtained from the proposed subsidence monitoring net will be
analyzed and compiled in a' manner that will allow the formulation of an
elementary prediction model . The data will be analyzed with respect to the
mine geometry, overburden configuration and face location. Vertical move-
ment, horizontal movement, subsidence development and the angle of draw will
• be determined.
Subsidence and strain profiles will be generated for each line of subsi-
dence monuments after each survey of the monitoring net. These profiles will
be superimposed on cross sections of the mining area and the mine workings .
G
•
I
13
