Mining has commenced as soon as the permit is approved. Mining will be ongoing <br />until material in the area has been depleted. <br />(~ Nature, Depth, and Thickness of Deposit and Thickness and Type of Overburden <br />The sand and gravel deposit is believed to be only between 6' to 8' thick in the <br />permit area. The deposit is covered by an extremely thin layer (4 to 6 inches) of <br />topsoil with little to no overburden. The nature of the stratum immediately beneath <br />the material to be mined is clay/shale. <br />(g) Primary and Secondary Commodities to be Extracted and Intended Use <br />The primary commodity to be extracted is sand and gravel. This material is used for <br />road maintenance and road construction. <br />(h) Name and Description of all Expected Incidental Products to be Extracted <br />No incidental products are to be mined or extracted in this operation. <br />
