ITEM 3 EQUIPMENT RENTAL <br /> All dozer time will be hourly according to the Equipment Rental specifications (19.0) in the <br /> General Bid Specifications. The hourly price will commence once the machine has started to <br /> perform earth moving work as directed by the Project Manager. Mobilization/demobilization <br /> will be included within the unit price submitted. <br /> Site work will include the repair work of contour furrows, realignment of drainages <br /> associated with roadwork and other earthmoving as needed. <br /> Measurement and-Payment <br /> Payment for this task will be reflected under Item 3 of the Bid Schedule as an hourly rate for <br /> a CAT D-5h or equivalent 120 FHP machine with PAT, rippers and operator. Bid hourly <br /> rate shall reflect the CONTRACTORS estimate for equipment and personnel costs per hour <br /> to complete the task. Measurement will be actual hours required to complete work as <br /> directed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. All of the hours outlined under Item 8 <br /> are NOT guaranteed. <br /> ITEM 4 STANDPIPE REPAIR <br /> A standpipe for a settling pond is in need of minor concrete mortar work around the inlet <br /> feature within the standpipe. Five (5) bags of ready mix mortar will be the maximum <br /> amount needed to mortar on site rock to provide a seal for proper water flow out the inlet <br /> pipe. Access to the standpipe is by truck to within approximately 100' from the end of the <br /> road. The standpipe is accessible by ATV from the end of the road. Access into the <br /> standpipe will require a ladder with a 10' minimum reach. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> Payment for this item will be reflected in a lump sum bid under Item 4 on the Bid Schedule. <br /> This lump sum bid will cover payment of all costs for procuring, transporting, mixing and <br /> constructing a mortared seal within the standpipe. There will be no measurement for <br /> payment. Payment shall be as this task is completed and approved by the PROJECT <br /> MANAGER. Payment for this task shall be made only for that amount shown under Item 7 <br /> of the Bid Schedule. Any or all incidental costs incurred by the CONTRACTOR shall be <br /> reflected in each Bid Item or shall be paid at the CONTRACTOR's expense. <br /> ITEM 5 ROAD BASE <br /> Bids for five (5) - 10 yds3 loads of road base are being solicited to be delivery to a specific <br /> road section which is in need of a stable base for access. Road base will adhere to the <br /> Standard specification for graded aggregate per ASTM D2940. Road base will be uniformly <br /> spread out along the delineated section of road which is accessible by truck. The road base <br /> 6 <br />
