A. The material shall be in accordance with CDOT Standazd Specification No. 712.08 (b), Class A <br />woven or non-woven geotextile. The geotextile used on the Upstream Face and the Outlet <br />Plunge Pool shall meet the following specifications: <br />• 095 less than or equal to 0.297 mm but greater than O.O15mm. ASTM D 4751, CW <br />002215 <br />• Appazent Open Area of greater than or equal to 4% if using a woven monofilament <br />geotextile, or 50% if using a nonwoven geotextile. <br />• Grab Strength : 2001bs (900 N) ASTM D 4632 <br />• Elongation : 15% min ASTM D 4632 <br />• Seam Strength : 1801bs (800 N) ASTM D 4632 <br />• Puncture Strength : 801bs (360 N) ASTM D 4633 <br />• Trapezoid Teaz : SO lbs (225 N) ASTM D 4533 <br />• Ultraviolet Degradation at 500 hours : 50 % retained ASTM D 4355 <br />In addition to the Geotextile Fabric, materials for securing joints as detailed in the Drawings, <br />Specifications, manufacturer's recommendations, or other Contract Documents shall be furnished <br />and installed by CONTRACTOR per the manufacturer's recommendations. <br />2.03 GRANULAR BASE <br />A. Granular base material shall consist of sand, gravel, or crushed stone, free from ice and shall have <br />a uniform gradation within the limits specified herein. The material shall be composed of tough, <br />durable particles; shall be free of thin, flat and elongated pieces; and shall contain no organic <br />matter or soft, friable particles in quantities considered objectionable to COMPANY. <br />1. Outlet Plunge Pool Crranulaz Base Aggregate Material: The material shall be in accordance <br />with CDOT Standazd Specification No. 703.02 for No. 3 Coarse Aggregate.
