Gradation test results for granular base. CONTRACTOR shall submit for proof of <br />specification compliance the gradation test results for one gradation test of a material <br />sample taken on Site, including the name and address of the testing laboratory. This test, <br />and any required re-testing due to the failure of the material to meet specification, shall be <br />at the expense of CONTRACTOR. <br />4. Gradation test results for riprap. CONTRACTOR shall submit for proof of specification <br />compliance the gradation test results for one gradation test of a material sample taken on <br />Site, including the name and address of the testing laboratory. One gradation test shall be <br />performed for each required gradation of riprap. These tests, and any required re-testing <br />due to the failure of the material to meet specification, shall be at the expense of <br />CONTRACTOR until the stockpile gradation is in accordance with the requirements of the <br />Specifications. <br />B. CONTRACTOR shall submit geotextile product information for information and documentation <br /> to COMPANY. Manufacturer's recommendations for installation shall be included. <br />C. CONTRACTOR Work Plan. Prior to construction, submit to COMPANY a detailed plan <br />' outlining the proposed methods and sequences as detailed in Section 01110 Summary of Work of <br /> the Specifications. <br />' 1.04 SEQUENCING AND SCHEDULING <br />A. Portions of the Mobilization shall be performed prior and shall be in accordance with Section <br />' 01505 of these Specifications and the other Contract Documents. <br />B. Placement of upstream clay blanket shall be performed prior to Work in this Section and shall be <br /> in accordance with Section 02300 Earthwork of these Specifications and the other Contract <br /> Documents. <br />' C. Placement of upstream geotextile fabric, granular base, and riprap shall be performed prior the <br /> installation of the gate control stem as detailed in Section 02661. <br />' 1.05 BASIS FOR COMPENSATION <br />A. Compensation for all Work covered under this Section of these Specifications shall be as set forth <br />' in Section 01270, Unit Price Measurement and Payment and other Contract Documents. <br />PART 2: PRODUCTS <br />' 2.01 GENERAL <br />A. Materials used_for granular base and riprap shall be durable (igneous rock) field stone (round), of <br />' approved quality, sound, hard, and free of seams, cracks, deleterious amounts of ice, and other <br /> structural defects.
