1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. CONTRACTOR Work Plan. Prior to construction, submit for information and documentation to <br />COMPANY a detailed plan outlining the proposed methods and sequences as detailed in Section <br />' 01110 Summary of Work of the Specifications. The Work Plan shall include proposed methods <br />for temporary erosion and sedimentation control measures implemented at the Site. <br />' B. All inspection records completed by CONTRACTOR as a part of the NPDES Permit (if required) <br />or other Permits shall be submitted for proof of specification compliance to ENGINEER and <br />COMPANY at the end of the project as part of the Project Record Document Set. <br />' C. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for submitting a "Notice of Completion" to COMPANY <br />after final stabilization of the site, and completion of the project. <br />1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. If CONTRACTOR is operating in violation of the any environmental Permits and Laws and <br />Regulations, CONTRACTOR shall, within 24 hours, commence to diligently restore the project <br />to conform to the conditions required by the applicable Permits and Laws and Regulations. The <br />cost of actions required.to restore the project to the conditions required of the Permits and Laws <br />and Regulations will be paid by CONTRACTOR. Failure to comply w/ applicable Permits and <br />Laws and Regulations shall result in a financial penalty to CONTRACTOR and will be deducted <br />from normal progress payments. After COMPANY or COMPANY' S representative has given <br />two verbal warnings of safety violations, subsequent incidents of violation will result in <br />CONTRACTOR being fined $50,000 per incident, deducted from progress payments. <br />1.06 PROJECT CONDTTIONS <br />A. The project Contract Documents and inspection records include Permits and shall be available at <br />the construction site in either the field office, or the inspector's vehicle, or CONTRACTOR'S <br />vehicle, for inspection by federal, state, and local officials as required by the Permits for the <br />duration of the Project. <br />B. CONTRACTOR shall maintain a record of all inspections of the site as required by the Permits, <br />and shall include: <br />1. Date and time of inspections. <br />2. Findings of inspections. <br />3. Corrective actions taken (including date and time). <br />4. Documentation of changes to the temporary erosion control measures made during <br />construction. <br />Date of all rainfall events (including total precipitation). <br />6. Documentation of reservoir water surface elevations and wave heights during construction. <br />At a minimum this includes weekly observations and observations when the daily water <br />surface elevation changes over two feet from the previous day. <br />C. CONTRACTOR shall post a "Notice of Permit Coverage" at the construction site entrance or at <br />the construction field office and shall be visible to the public. <br />02370-2 <br />
