3. All materials to be placed for the embankment will be tested by COMPANY or <br />COMPANY'S Representative for in-place moisture and density. One in-place <br />moisture and density test for every 1,000 cubic yards or as determined by <br />COMPANY or COMPANY's Representative of each material placed will be <br />obtained. Laboratory proctor samples will be collected. Placed material not <br />passing the density tests for minimum percent compaction shall be compacted and <br />retested at CONTRACTOR's expense. <br />1.05 BASIS FOR COMPENSATION <br />A. Compensation for all Work covered under this Section of these Specifications shall be <br />as set forth in Section 01270, Unit Price Measurement and Payment and the other <br />Contract Documents. <br />02300-3 <br />
