SECTION 02300 <br />EARTHWORK <br />PART 1: GENERAL <br />1.01 DESCRIPTION <br />A. All Work included in this Section shall be performed in accordance with the following <br />paragraphs, the General Requirements set forth in Division 1 of these Specifications, <br />and the provisions of the other Contract Documents. <br />B. Work covered by this section includes furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, and <br />equipment required to complete all general or miscellaneous earthwork at the Site to <br />grade and lines shown on the Drawings including, but not limited to: <br />1. Material Source Development for riprap and borrow sources. <br />2. Surface preparation of existing ground for dam modifications. <br />3. Surface preparation of existing dam for dam modifications. <br />4. Placement and compaction of upstream clay blanket. <br />5. Placement and compaction of downstream drainage blanket. <br />6. Placement and compaction of trench drains. <br />7. Placement and compaction of interceptor drain. <br />8. Disposal of unsuitable material, and stockpile of suitable material from surface <br />preparation. <br />C. Related Work specified elsewhere <br />1.
