1.04 BASIS FOR COMPENSATION <br />A. All costs to comply with the requirements of this Section of the Specifications shall as set forth in <br />section 01270, Unit Price Measurement and Payment, and the Contract Documents. <br />PART 2: PRODUCTS [NOT USED] <br />PART 3: EXECUTION <br />3.01 CONTROL OF WATER <br />A. CONTRACTOR shall be solely responsible for the means and methods used to: <br />1. control water on the Site. <br />2. control water entering the Site. <br />3. control water exiting the Site. <br />4. ensure that water control methods aze in accordance with Laws and Regulations. <br />B. CONTRACTOR shall be solely responsible for the means and methods used to coordinate <br />construction activities with the existing lake water surface elevation and groundwater. <br />CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for obtaining any permits required for working on or near <br />the water, unless otherwise stated elsewhere in the Contract Documents. <br />C. CONTRACTOR shall document activities related to the control of water. Any action taken, or <br />deliberately not taken, to manage water on the site shall be documented. <br />END OF SECTION 02249 <br />02249-2 <br />
