3. UNIT: The units of measure upon which the lump sum price is <br />' based. Several units may apply to each lump sum item. <br />4. NUMBER OF UNITS: The number of units upon which the total price for the <br /> item will be based. <br />' <br />5. UNIT MATERIAL <br />PRICE: The cost of the raw materials or products needed for the <br />' item on a unit price basis. <br />6. UNIT LABOR PRICE: The cost of labor needed to fabricate, install or otherwise <br />t construct the item on a unit basis. <br />7. UNIT OVERHEAD AND <br />PROFIT PRICE: CONTRACTOR's overhead and profit distributed on a <br />' unit basis. <br />8. TOTAL UNIT PRICE: Sum of unit material price, unit labor price, and unit <br />' overhead and profit price. <br />9. EXTENSION: The total price for the item determined by multiplying the <br />t number of units by the total unit price. <br />D. The Schedule of Values shall include a row labeled TOTAL EXTENSION which shall be the <br />' sum of the extension column for each of the individual items. The dollar value shown as the <br />total extension shall match exactly the Contract Bid Price as shown in the Agreement. <br />' E. The Schedule of Values shall contain sufficient detail to serve as the basis for progress payments <br />for materials or equipment which will be shop fabricated and for lump sum items. The schedule <br />should include such items as design, fabrication, lining, exterior painting, transportation to site, <br />' installation and any other pertinent items CONTRACTOR wishes to break out for purposes of <br />progress payments. <br />F. The Schedule of Values shall be subject to review by COMPANY. If in opinion of COMPANY <br />the Schedule of Values does not contain sufficient detail or appears to be unbalanced, <br />COMPANY may require CONTRACTOR to revise and resubmit the Schedule of Values and/or <br />provide documentation to justify CONTRACTOR'S distribution. CONTRACTOR shall correct <br />such deficiencies and resubmit the Schedule of Values. <br />1.04 SCHEDULE OF SUBMITTALS <br />A. CONTRACTOR shall submit a preliminary schedule of submittals including Shop Drawings in <br />the form herein specified. CONTRACTOR shall submit a finalized schedule of submittals <br />' including Shop Drawings to ENGINEER prior to beginning any Work. A template Schedule of <br />Submittals is provided with the Specifications. <br />B. The schedule of submittals shall be in tabular form listing all submittals which are required by <br />' the Contract Documents and the date on which CONTRACTOR will plan to make submittal. As <br />a minimum, the schedule of submittals shall consist of the following columns: <br />' 01330-3 <br />
